Job Description
This is a Life Cycle Management position within the Integration Services, organization.
Position requires Salesforce Software Development experience
Responsibilities
- Minimum 10 years previous experience working in software design and integration within the Telecommunications or IT space is required
- Solid background working with CDMA and/or GSM applications as well as well as all related protocols is critical
- Minimum 10 years experience working in a direct customer-facing role with related pre-sales responsibilities is ideal
- System solutions analysis, creation, while working closely with Business Development to gather customer requirements and specifications and translating those needs into effective solutions in order to meet customer expectations
- Drive business and Service Layer & Telecom management solution development with the customer by finding new opportunities based on expanding existing solutions as well as creating new ones.
- Attend as well as drive customer meetings for specific solutions and different areas.
- Develop cost estimates, and perform project planning including adaptations
- Responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions based on the customers specifications and business needs.
- Responsible for short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson by being part of or working closely with the Core 3 team to translate the customer need and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions and proposals.
- Supports the Consultants during requirement analysis and high level design phases.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of IP networking and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Radius, Diameter)
- Excellent knowledge of UNIX O/S (Solaris, Linux)
- Solid working knowledge of Databases such as MySQL and Oracle
- Strong knowledge of XML, SNMP, Corba, LDAP, SOAP protocols
- Knowledge of wireless technologies (call flow) and related protocols preferred
- Knowledge of Ericsson products or telecom experience in an Operator (Carrier) environment is highly desired.
- Datacom experience is a plus.
- BSS (Real time and converged solutions, Billing, Portals, Campaign mgmt, EAI and CRM)

Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or acceptable combination of equivalent post secondary education and experience will be considered
